We want to help people find the fullness of Christ's revelation, which He has entrusted to the Catholic Church! For those interested in learning more about the Catholic faith, passed on from the Apostles, we can offer assistance, welcome and Christian love.
Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) is the process of welcoming unbaptized adults, baptized adults, baptized Catholics who have not received Eucharist and Confirmation, and persons baptized in other denominations who wish to be a member of the Catholic Church. It includes catechesis following the liturgical year, solidly supported by celebrations of the Word that leads to an appropriate acquaintance with dogmas and precepts as well as a profound sense of the mystery of salvation. It develops prayer life and Christian action. It is marked by special liturgical rites throughout the journey.
Re-Membering is a process to provide a warm welcoming to separated, alienated or inactive Catholics, to help them return to active participation in the life of the Church.
Sometimes, previous marriage irregularities present difficulties to persons coming to the Catholic faith. The Diocese can investigate such problems, and possibly find that such marriages are not true marriages as God intended. The church office helps with petitions to the Diocese for a Declaration of Nullity.
