Community Building
Communications Committee unites the parish through weekly bulletins, submissions to the Beaufort Gazette, and semiannual newsletters which promote our parish events. Help with interviewing, reporting, and publishing is always welcome.

Bulletin is the primary weekly source of information for our parish. To have something published, please place it in writing to our parish office no later than Monday at 1:00 p.m.

Hospitality Committee plans and prepares for social events to strengthen our parish community. This group organizes meals and decorations in coordinating these events.

Scheduling of parish events and locations are handled in our parish office. A monthly calendar is published and inserted in the bulletin.

MOMS Ministry of Mothers Sharing is an opportunity for women to share and pray together.

Women’s Club gathers monthly in planning activities of and for the parish.

Men’s Club meets monthly in social or service activities.

Adult Supper Club gathers the third Saturday of each month following the 6:00pm Mass. This group enjoys a covered dish meal, conversation, and activities!

Rosary Makers make rosaries for missions in community with one another. Come and see how this task is done on Tuesday mornings in the adult education room.

Coffee and donuts are provided with fellowship following the Sunday Masses. Share conversations or assist by setting and cleaning up!

Scouts are sponsored by St. Peter’s parish. For information on the Cub Scout Pack, Boy Scout Troop, and Brownies, call the school office.

Knights of Columbus is a support of the church through evangelization, civic involvement, and charitable works. They fulfill their mission by giving spiritual support, too. Call 379-7817 for more information.

Columbiettes is the women’s arm of the Knights. They are the first group of their kind in the state and work to support charities, coordinating with our parish and the civic community. Any woman 17 years or older, active in the Catholic faith may join.

Black Evangelization is a group that is sensitive to the multicultural community of our parish.

Philippine Evangelization meets the first Saturday of each month in private homes to say a rosary and join in a meal.
